Mrs. Gertrude Boamah

Head, Worship Ministry

Gertrude Afi Kafui Boamah is a trained teacher by profession. She had her teacher training education at the Presbyterian Training College, Akropong, Akwapim. She holds a BA in Music Education with the University College of Education, Winneba, BS in Music Production, Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, MA in Christian Worship with Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. MA in Music with Atlantic International University, Honolulu, Hawaii, and currently a Doctorial (PhD Musicology) Candidate, Atlantic International University.

Mrs. Boamah is a Music Educationist. She is the Director of The Royal Institute of Professional Music Studies, offering training in Church Music, Music Production and Music Education. She has attended serveral seminars, worshops, conferences and lectures in Music both locally and internationally. She has also presented several papers including “Experiencing the Power of God in Worship “, “Today’s Successful Musician”, and many others. Also specializes in composing music for films, advertisements, jingles and for Music Libraries. Mrs. Boamah is an experienced church Musician. She worked with Calvary Baptist Church from 1990 till 2001 when she travelled to the US for further studies.

In the US, she worked as the Music Director for Church of the Living God in Fairfax, Virginia. Also for The Mountain of Fire and Prayer Ministries, Virginia. The Faifax, Virginia. (Interdenominational Congregation for Verterans) and The St. Paul’s United Mrthodist Church in Alexandria, Virginia. She currently works with Calvary Baptist Church in Accra, Ghana as the Worship Ministry Director.

Mrs. Boamah is also the Chairperson for The Arbitration and Disciplinary Committee of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA.)
