Rev. Newell Ametorwobla is an ordained Minister of the Ghana Baptist Convention with over twenty-three (23) years of service in ministry. He currently serves as the Head of the Assimilation and Congregational Care of Calvary Baptist Church. He also doubles as the Pastor-in-charge of the Teens Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church, Adabraka Campus.
He is a pastor with a burden for a revival in the body of Christ. He is a lover of the Word of God, a fecund teacher, a revivalist, and a life-coach. He believes that the ultimate resource for kingdom advance is people; and people must be given the opportunity learn from their mistakes-growth through experience. He strongly holds that the call of a pastor is to nurture people to recognize, shape and deploy their giftings for the corporate good of the family, church and nation.
Rev. Newell is currently pursuing Doctor of Ministry Degree at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon. He graduated with a Master of Theology (MTh. Applied Theology) at Spurgeons’ College, UK, Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry at Maranatha University, Accra-Ghana. He also holds an HND Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He is happily married to Lady Prophet Sylvia Ametorwobla and blessed with two children, Jason And Charis-Christabel.
